Before you start, turn off the power at the circuit breaker. Use a voltage tester to confirm that the wires are no longer live. This prevents accidents and ensures a safe working environment.
Remove the cover plate of the old switch.
Note which wire is connected where (L, N, dim output).
Disconnect the wires and remove the old switch.
Check the wire condition. If necessary, strip the ends again.
Connect the phase (L) to the dimmer’s input.
Connect the neutral wire (N) to the neutral terminal.
Connect the dim output to the light fixture.
Secure the wires with connectors.
Ensure all wires are properly fastened.
